Labelling PET bottles for carbonated drinks

Beardow Adams has a range of hot melt adhesives for wrap around labelling of PET bottles filled with carbonated beverages, for both magazine or reel fed labelling machines. 

With many light-weight bottles, expansion of the bottle after filling can cause label tear or bond failure, when inferior adhesives are used.  Beardow Adams adhesives are formulated to overcome this.  They allow the overlap bond to slip as the bottle expands, but remain bonded – ensuring that no tearing or winging of the label occurs. Even if the amount of expansion is greater than the overlap, the label will remain secure.
