Woodworking adhesives –  profile wrapping

Beardow Adams has hot melt adhesives suitable for profile wrapping on all major machines and work on machine speeds in excess of 60m/min.

Some grades will profile both wood veneer and paper foils, while speciality hot melts will also wrap alkorcel, PVC and high pressure laminates.

Our polyolefin hot melts allow bond integrity at temperatures in excess of 120°C.

Profiles laminated with one of our unfilled hot melts has enabled the manufacturers of doors and door frames to make, lacquer and cure profiles in one pass. The adhesive is able to withstand the heat generated by the process and the stresses caused by veneer shrinkage.
