Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards 2011

The Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce has presented Beardow Adams with two awards for The Business Excellence Award and Manufacturing Excellence.
Winners were announced at the annual Chamber Dinner and Business Excellence Awards ceremony, which was held at the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton, Stadium Way, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, on Thursday 20th October. The awards were presented to Bob and Nick.
This recognition is confirmation of the company's commitment to grow with the manufacturing which not only benefits employees of the company, but also all of its customers by ensuring continuity of supply and ongoing research and development.  Beardow Adams is a founder member of the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber hosts annual award ceremonies.
Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards 2010
In October 2010, the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce presented presented Beardow Adams with the award for International Trade - Consistent Performance
Winners were announced at the annual Chamber Dinner and Business Excellence Awards ceremony, which was held at the Middleton Hall, thecentre:mk, Milton Keynes, on Tuesday 12th October. The award was presented to Bob Adams, Chairman and Managing Director of Beardow Adams.
On winning the awards, Bob said: "This award is a validation of our hard work - not just now but since we first started almost 34 years ago. Our export business has been 30 years in the making - it is not a one year project. It requires a long term commitment and an investment in time before you see any results. This has to be supported by investment in people and production."

Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards 2009 In October 2009, the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce presented Beardow Adams with the award for International Trade - Consistent Performance and the award for Business of the Year (above £5 million turnover).
For the international trade award, the judges commented on "An impressive track record of growth from a local company using a differentiated niche positioning to exploit and expand in a hotly contested international market, leveraging their specialist knowledge and the strength of their global network."
For the business of the year award, they said, "This company strongly demonstrates the importance of not only growing its people, but also the importance of its distributors involving them in the business providing training and support to both. It continuously seeks new opportunities to expand the business but its determination to focus on its specialist field of hot melt adhesives, developing new technology to deliver this, make this a top class company."

Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards 2007 In 2007, Beardow Adams won the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce award for Category 5: International Trade - Consistent performance.
Chamber of Commerce Awards 2001 Beardow Adams won two awards at this prestigious event in 2001, outperforming 7000 other companies in the Milton Keynes area. We won both the Overall Performance prize and the Innovation Award for development of the BAMFutura range of hot melts.
“I thought that we might do well in the innovation category and naturally I was pleased that we won it, because BAMFutura has secured a considerable amount of business from all over the world since its launch two years ago, said Beardow Adams’ Chairman Bob Adams. “What was unexpected, though, was winning the best overall prize,” he said. “It’s a tribute to everyone in the company. It demonstrates that the effort, hard work and investment we have made in people, plant and premises were recognised by the judges as being the very best in Milton Keynes."
South East Business Awards
The South East Business Awards (SEBA) are managed by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA).
SEBA 2008 In March 2008, Beardow Adams was named as the winner of the International Business category. Lord Digby Jones, then Minister for Trade & Investment, presented the award to Bob Adams.
More than 300 companies from across the South East entered the awards, with 28 making it through to the finals. Jeff Alexander, Executive Director of SEEDA’s Global Competitiveness Division and head judge for the South East Business Awards, commented "This is a prestigious award, that recognises companies that have demonstrated a powerful business contribution to the region" and commended Beardow Adams, saying “ The company faced tough competition and has truly been established as one of the region’s most outstanding companies.".
